Hello, everybody!  Here’s what I have for you this month:This is the perfect time of year to visit Florida farms.  Use this map to find a place to pick your own strawberries.  Try this when you get home.  
If you’re lucky you’ll find some hot boiled peanuts along the way.   Smokin’ hot. 

You can now tour the gardens of Robert Fuchs’ private home:  R. F. Orchids of Homestead was made famous by Susan Orlean’s The Orchid Thief and the movie Adaptation. Orlean called him “The King of Orchids.”  The nursery alone is beautiful, so I imagine these weekend garden tours are well-worth the trip.

Check out the Florida Birding Trail’s new website.  It’s amazing!  Even cats like it.
