Game Day Food

Gasparilla was postponed until April this year, but Tampa now has another excuse for a citywide, pirate-themed celebration as Super Bowl host city and home team. Signs up and down my street say “Go Bucs,” “My neighbor is the GOAT,” and “Honk for Gronk” ?. There are fireworks every night. A few neighbors say they’re moving TVs outside Sunday to watch the game for a socially distant block party. I can’t escape. I get we all want an excuse to celebrate right now.  Even though I hate football, I’m here for all the game day snacks and cocktails!  Here are some of my favorites to make at home and share with your bubble. Have a great weekend, and play it safe!

Roasted Salsa Verde

Devil Crab

Hibiscus Honeybell Margaritas

Southern Tomato Pie

Cajun Grilled Shrimp

Grouper Fritters

Bloody Mary Pickled Shrimp

Mango and Grouper Ceviche

Lobster Bites

Zombies

Bourbon Bacon Strawberry Onion Jam

Buffalo Okra Fries

Guava Barbecue Shrimp

Whoa what a beautiful layout! There is something wrong with someone that doesn’t have hunger attacks after looking at that spread …..absolutely stunning…again you are a wonderful photographer and you have to be a great cook!
