This month was lovely.

I already miss May.
Once a month, we pack up the car and get out of town.
We had a family field trip to Selby Gardens with Grandma Polly.
On a narrow dirt road just off the interstate in Tampa, through a tunnel of oak trees, you’ll find 67 acres of scrub, tree canopy, and lakes where cats roam.
I’ve been collecting old Florida postcards for years. I pick them up here and there, especially the ones with familiar places, or my favorite plants, or a lovely note to a friend.
We spent this past week at our favorite little hideaway on an elbow of Big Pine Key.
