We’ve driven over 2,000 miles around Florida this month. 

Key West Cemetery

A hurricane in 1846 swept through the original beachside Key West Cemetery, leaving a gruesome scene in its aftermath.   It was relocated to the highest elevation in town.  Because of this, some gravestones are older than the cemetery itself.

The Conch Republic In Bloom

There is so much in bloom this month in the Florida Keys.  Huge royal poincianas tower over the rooftops in vivid red, fuchsia bougainvilleas pour over fences, and gardens are filled with every color of plumeria.
